On the home screen click + New Project to create a project. Give it a name, description, and part number. Projects are private to you until you invite collaborators.

Open a project and click Import BOM. Upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. WeekendCAD will parse your columns and map them to part number, description, quantity, and level fields automatically.

The Tree tab shows your assembly hierarchy as a visual bubble tree. Click any bubble to inspect it — the detail panel opens on the right with part info, quantity, and linked files. Use the scroll wheel or trackpad to zoom, and click-drag to pan.

Use the tab bar at the top of the viewer to switch between: Tree (visual hierarchy), Table (flat sortable list), Chart (grouped breakdown), and Files (all uploaded documents).

In the Files tab, upload PDFs, DXFs, STEP files, or images. WeekendCAD will attempt to auto-match files to part numbers in your BOM. You can also manually link a file to a specific part from the detail panel.

Click Share to generate a read-only link anyone can view without signing in. To give someone edit access, invite them by email from the project settings panel.

The bar at the bottom of the viewer shows live counts: Items (total BOM rows), Assemblies (parent nodes), Images, and Drawings linked to parts. Use the Feedback button on the right to report issues or share ideas.
